original equipment. They tell me one thing, do another, then there is pie in my face. I NEVER have screwed anyone over. Sometimes it takes longer than it was suposed to for various reasons. I no longer do guages mainly because they are a huge investment in time and being a perfectionist, I will NOT let a half-ass set of guages go out. Ask anyone who has purchased guages, they ALL love them. Some of them were returned in a rasonable time frame whereas some were not and those respective owners were at their wits end. Folks, when something is sold on an "exchange basis", it means just that. I send shifters on a 2 day service, when you get it, install it and send it back on a 2 day service. The process should take no longer than a week. I have had shifters out for months on end and continually told, "It will be going out tomorrow.". So before all of you gang rape me openly on this world wide web of trigger happy comsumers, please note that what I am saying here is that many consumers do not hold up on their end of the deal. Admittedly, this is not the case all the time. Things come up, problems arise, unexpectedly - of course. And I do my best to provide an ETA. Someone claims that I am unreliable? They recieved their product, it was not within the time frame expected and they got upset, but the product arrived as they pair for it. In several cases I have offered free shifters to those people who on my mistake recieved their product late. You tell me ANY distributor out there that will do something like that and I commend them, but they are few and far between. I have made this generous offer on several occasions to members in these situations. So
