Take the side one out, don't even add the other side. That is to much for the Z. It'll turn into a 3000gt before long if you start flaring here, bending there. Those center vents are very low profile and very clean. Mr. K would be proud himself to see his creation not turn into a Honda 300ZX. From the front view you can't even really make it out which is a good blend in the Z's already slick body lines. Looking over the side of the hood, that little vent looks ricey. Like it just torn a hole right in the center of a beautiful master piece painted art work of a smooth hood. The Z has long needed a vent for it's very over packed engine compartment. But it takes a very skilled touch to do something to it that doesn't draw to much attention from the car itself. I've wanted one for a long time myself as with others. The ram air hood scoop style was just not the Z. Where in your method, an air release is way more aerodynamic. That and because the Z does not need forced air on top of the motor, only threw the IC vents and oil cooler. The motor needs to release the heat by front forced air induction. Adding a vented noise piece of some kind would greatly add to the car more aggressive look of the new hood. If you need a poll to help with the decision here, then take one. But let it be based on those that ARE buying one. I know that is a hard one to call. But have them post on here who's in and who's not. Because we that are, will be wearing this new item on our cars and I for one, don't care for no side vents. An aftermarket facial and vented nose piece works damn fine for more air ingested by over all speed of the car and the hood with it's vents ( center ) lets it pass right on threw in a streamless pattern. Oh yea, some red calipers with silver Nissan would look damn sharp as well ;)
