: I got my pistons in today from Polydyn who coats them for the same price of buying the pistons from someone else. The pistons were $609 with Coatings, rings, and Wrist pins. The rods were a little less than 1K for those interested. : What I did is take a couple pictures of a Crower Rod with JE Pistons next to my Pauter Rods and Wiseco Pistons (the other rods and pistons are going into some Honda). Now here is something that is not known about Pauter rods and thats they use 3/8 rod bolts versus 5/16 rod bolts (main thinking this not really necessary). The end result is a higher tensile strength. Also the feel of the Pauter rods was much different than that of the crower the finish is also superb. But here is the down side of the Pauter rods is that they weigh about 50 more grams than the crower ones.
: Another nice that there no visible seam on the beam itself while its clearly evident on the Crower rod.
