They have you sign when you drop your car off to them. It's say's on there, that they are NOT responsible for any damage, lost or stolen parts to the car. Like how the hell is that. By simply turning the car over to them as they agree to work on it, that alone should make them liable. First time I seen that, that was a red flag to me that I will NEVER leave my car just there. I'll hang out, or if the day comes where something major is needed, I'll be back like every other hour and just show up, so they can't determine when I'll be back. I also have my own Mech. here at this Nissan dealership. Very cool guy same age as me ( 32 ), and he does little things for free for me on the car if he sees it and keeps it between us. But back to your point. Dealerships don't like bad press. If you goto the shop head and explain to him on this all of a sudden two injector failure and this undetermined labor charge as of now. He'll work with you. That or get loud in front of other waiting customers ,,, lol. You could express your freedom of speech and picket sign out front,,, lol. What does your other family members that know this guy think? Labor on injector pulls is just that, a set time in the ASC mech. book and not up to shops personal interest unless problems arise and they MUST get authorized permission from the owner and that would be you. Now in looking for the problem, that's a $72 an hour flat labor rate. So that could go until found. But specific work on the car is broken down in a point system of time and charged in accordance to that time.
