Message : We almost finished installing it on my friends car..Unfortunately the week we got all the pieces together he was on his way to Fiji until september.

: We will have some numbers then.

: "water injection is safer, has more benefits, is proven, and just flat works"

: So is Propane, they have been using it on Turbo Diesels for years.

not true. if you run out of propane, you lean out your motor. if you run out of water, you run out of water.

: "it's a fuel, so if you ever run out, your screwed. no limp home mode"

: False statement, the propane is only used over a certain pre-set boost level.

ok. so if you run out, and your maps are tuned for propane, you lean out over a certain preset boost level

: "requires a bottle heater and presurization"

: How is this a Con?

if you dont have heat and pressurization, you don't have the same amount of propane being delivered. delivery is based on pressure

: "requires rigourous fuel map tuning"

: Just the same as when you do Water Injection, or change your boost level.
not true. with or without water, I can run the same fuel maps.
propane is a fuel, water is not.
propane requires a different fuel map then an non-propane injected car.
no propane, your maps are now off. possible considerably

: "the short of the short, same as N2O injecection (NOS parts)"

: Not the same as NOS

uses the exact same parts.

: "and there is a ton of info on ******3S1.ORG, SUPRAFORUMS.COM*****.
: why'd you bring this crap here, if you know the post came from 3SI?"

: Maybe he wanted to know if anyone with a Z has done it.

then why didn't he search the members directory, technical, and general forums first?

thanks for your reply.
I hope you are documenting everything and will post a thorough Procurement, Install, Tuning, Dyno, Results post as I did with Aquamist.
Until it's done, it's all hear say. Everything I mentioned is from research I did on the internet from people who actually installed it.

Ps, comparing diesel propane injection with four cycle engine propane injection is not the same...
