Message	the can is anything but empty. I don't think that the size of the can has that much to do with the sound of the exhaust once you get past an inch or so of sound absorbing material around the perforated tube core. I mean you could put a 3 foot diameter can on and it wouldn't change the exhaust note as far as I'm concerned. I'd be willing to bet that if you cut my PE open there would only be maybe a 1/2" around the core that was discolored by exhaust gasses, tops. I'll only take the bet if you buy me a new PE to replace mine tho :) Mike ------------------------------------------------------
