In the WRX, it was occassional at higher revs (4500 rpm or higher), then it started happening continuously each time the tach went over 3K rpm - so I shut off the laser detection. Now last week, I noticed the same problem starting in my TTZ. I even had it happen when I used the horn or wipers on one of my other cars. I switched the display on my 8500 to read battery voltage (cool feature) to see if there are any voltage spikes or drops coming from the alternator at the higher rpms - but nothing obvious yet. I've been meaning to call/write the mfgr about this, but haven't taken the time to do it yet. Drop me an email if you stumble on anything. Dave
