Message	will be traveling apparently faster than the speed of light, which could screw with the electronics in the V-1? Honestly, it sounds like you have a bad solder joint or something in your V-1, and as you get up to a certain RPM (corresponding to 18psi), some vibration in your car is shorting (or opening) the circuit that the bad solder joint is part of. Rule #1 - There's always a bastard!
