So I, like many auto owners, have decided to go with Progressive for insurance because they had the best rates in my area... I may be finding out why: Last Friday the Z was pushed (literally) onto the shoulder by a semi. It put some nasty gouges in the door and rear fender. My girlfriend was around when [ass]essor came and she said that Progressive is going to have the body shop bang the dents out (WTF?!?) instead of replacing the panels because they're too expensive to replace (isn't this the reason I pay insurane -- f$%k!!). I don't know much about autobody stuff, but is it possible to repair a panel with major damage to the point where it is new looking and structurally sound again?? Laterz,
Justin
