I wish you were here man ... I was replacing my PCV valves and set the torque wrench to specified torque but did not work and cracked the plenum. Now I have a hole in my left plenum …. It’s funny I met one guy at the Z day at Stillen and he did the same stupid mistake !! he had to take his of and weld it. The piece that I cracked eventually came of from the pressure and flew of on the highway –5 minutes before I got to Stillen- so the car kept stalling so I put some rubber piece under left throttle to keep it open so it wont stall … but the car runs like shit !! I picked up a used plenum from Stillen for $25 .. ya it has a problem and I am hesitant to put it on .. some of the threads are damaged .. I don’t know if I can retap the damaged threads and use it…or just call Coz for a used one … I was looking at it this week end and it seems like a real nightmare to remove !! I am thinking since it is so hard to do maybe I should just get Nismo injectors and put them on and save myself some labor !!! What do you think !?
