Message earlier posts about this, but when the z is running real rough idle, and you think its on 5 cylinders. Pop the hood while its running and disconnect all the electrical connectors one by one, and reconnect them. Every time it should make the car's idle change, except for the one that is bad.. no dif. I have seen the connectors come loose before, which is best case scenario. But if its not the connector then its likely the injector or spark plug. Spark plug would be an easy thing to check, borrow one or something, if still no good then probally injector. Most the time its an electrical failure on the injectors part. (this is not uncommon on the Z's.) But know at least that if its the one closest to the nose on the passenger side, no dremeling or plenum removal needed (so don't let them charge you for it if its that one). If your not comfortable doing it, i'd of at least got a fellow Z'er to help diagnose the prob though, as nissan might try and rape you.

If nissan tells you its a bad injector, be prepared some dealerships/mechanics want to remove the plenum to get to it at ~700$ labor, while others will just use a dremel on the plenum to get it... ~100 bucks.

Good luck.
