Message You have a tendency to blame others when your information is wrong.

Cliff Notes on what you just said: "I'm humbled by Kyle's true information but let me track down this other guy that gave me the wrong pump so I can kick his ass for making me look like a complete dumbass."

Frankly if you've only closely inspected a couple of oil pumps, then you shouldn't be making statements and calling people idiots, morons or whatever. It is a personal attack on people's intelligence and it's a huge egg in your face when you are proven wrong. It's not enough for anyone to reach a definitive conclusion. It's simple statistics... the more you data you collect from different sources (as Kyle has done thru tearing several motors down), the very likely your assumptions would be proven correct or incorrect.

I usually don't post to your threads because I know it's just getting into a pissing contest as it's always been.

Why not just be a man and simply say "I'm sorry I was wrong" and let it be. Who cares if you got the wrong part from a shop you knew, that was your own fault for not verifying that it was indeed a TT pump. Stop trying to blame others.

We all know you are very good at what you do but nobody is ever right 100% of the time. Arrogance is clearly displayed and the "holier than thou" attitude can clearly and easily be interpretted in your posts. What you write and how you write is what give people the impression of who you are here. And that is exactly what we've been seeing here.
