Something draws me to this car and I don't care what people may say,,,,LOL. This car was a piece of art work the day I picked it up all the car lot. Fully stock in every single way, very well kept and maintained in every way, until the day I started adding power modds to it,,,lol. No really, for all the car does bring me in driving it and the feeling of newness each time I get it out, is all worth the headaches that come with it. I take it now as it's a change for the both of us, me and the car. When I get it running again, it will give me that smile I always seem to get when I just killed a car that cost 3 times what mine does and I still look better too. Plus when you go places it's like your ( me anyway, lol ) a one of a kind. Even with the year long clutch issue and now tranny killed,,,lol. I know just by last weekends trap speeds that this car will kick ass when all is good and your will too. As you know, don't take the problems at hand to make a decision on something that has already changed your life and made such an impact that it has, even if some look at it as just a car, the memories will remain and that is a part of your life that you have come to learn in a time like myself, was thinking that I couldn't beat that clutch gremlin ,,, lol. I think everything happens for a reason. This car is breaking on me now for a reason,,,,lol. So I got hooked up with another tt.netter yesterday and looked up OS G's gearing set for our car's transmissions. For $1700+ you can change the first three gears and make it so 3rd can reach 124mph and so on. Now that looks very appealing to me. Because I can get Trannys cheaper than most here, because I can BS them ( the grave yard ) into a price ( got stock rims for 50 bucks ). Only now I'm looking at going all out with it, so I can really move on passed this department of my car that I have been stuck on for so damn long that this board has gained like 3000 new members since my first issue,,, lol. BTW, viper killer should come very easy for you when your killing Z06's. There where two vipers at the track Sat night. One nice new one ( Yellow w/ wing ) that on the back the little viper badge lit up red with the parking lights ( very cool ) and a Red ACR. They where both running low to mid 12's at 112 to 116 traps. So you might wanna start looking at GTR II's or Hen's ,,, lol. So even in my bad times with this car and I might have said Supra, I strongly feel that I would be making a big mistake in letting this still new dream go. All over some dumn ass parts? I mean that car is 10+ years old, theres no rush on making it all it can be tomorrow. That's what I'm telling myself from now on. So good choice bro, you got rid of your biggest bill already ( you know whatI'm talking about,lol ), so yea your doing like me, I got a roomate too for my 3br house. Since it's just been me and my little girls from time to time. I have family back there in KC and we will go have a beer next time I'm there, for sure. ;)
