As for the shitlist article, ever since I was harassed on memorial day weekend, I installed a camera and have been seriously driving like a priest on sunday. I only occasionally go over the speed limit by 1MPH and in a lot of cases I am actually going under the speed limit. Feels kinda strange getting passed by faster drivers, but hell, I aint gotta prove that my car is faster. I've been treating her very well and I'm looking forward to the next auto-X race next weekend. :) Another aspect of the actual hearing and showing that the officer is wrong, is the whole thing about not getting excited. State it matter of factly so as NOT to slam the cop, but rahter to just politely show that what he percieved was not the case and that it is ok. Misconceptions happen all the time. If I win the case you can bet your ass that I will be one of the happiest people to have ever taken a ticket to court. Watch him not even show up. LOL That would be good, an instant win, but to be honest, at this point I'd rather win with the facts rather than by forfeiture. But if he doesn't show up, my rank on the shitlist wont be as bad. :) I'm preparing myself for him actually showing up though, I'm not counting on him not being there. : the future. What I mean is, you will be at the TOP of this cops Shitlist if you go making him look like a jerky on the stand......that could be more trouble. Just a flip side of the coin. I do however feel that you a strong case and the judge would probably see things in your favor. Maybe you should also consider a civil case against the cop for wages that you lost in order to appear in court. F-it may as well recover all the court costs you had for both the traffic and civil courts too.
