that comes with the autometer gauge is roughly the size of a shotgun shell, well if he got the electronic one I think that is splicing a few wires which should be pretty simple but last I checked they do not make one that works with our temp sensor. The mechanical one requires finding a big enough passthru from the firewall or even going outside the car and coming back thru to the engine, drilling a hole in the water pipe or radiator and I don't quite remember if it needs a fitting in the water pipe for the sensor. Its not as easy to install as per say the boost gauge. Just my 2 cents,
