Message I dont make copies of their program, their program sucks. I wrote my own program and tuned my own fuel and timing maps.
In fact, its not a modification of the 'program' anyway. The actual 'code' is the same. What differs are the control maps for ignition timing, fuel delivery, map scalars, rev limiter, speed limiter and that's it. JWT uses the 1993 'program' and just modifies the maps and other limit parameters.

I understand how everything they do works and I probably know other parameters in the ECU they dont.

I sold a JWT NA ecu (actually two of them) a short while back. They are genuine JWT EPROMs. I would do nothing of the sort to R&D their product (that's Rob and Duplicate ;-). I feel that I understand it better than they do based on how they setup their 'maps'.

The short and sweet of it is, even if I felt so compelled to take their maps, change one point in it, and sell it, I could do just that. It is no longer their unique map. But again, this is not something that I do. I started from a stock 1993 program just as they did and built my own maps.

The simplicity of it is amazing once you know how it all works. The ECU's 'program' actually does just about everything for you. The map is identical to an AFC, all it is there for is to specify enrichment from stoichiometric. But, since it is part of the ECU, it doesn't cost you $400 for some fancy interface with limited resolution. It is a map of 16X16 with four point interpolation. It is a superior AFC when you really understand it.

: their illegal since he reverse engineers JWTs property, but hey, it's america. We can do whatever we want with out fear of prosocution.
