Tech. But the flare nut wrench I bought was made of poor materal or had a poor heat treatment. The nut I stripped loosened OK with vice grips. The others loosened OK with the standard Craftsman wrench I've owned for years. I've heat treated the wrench I bought at Pep Boys but I'll always be suspicious of that one. The prongs flexed open with high torque. My technique with the Craftsman wrench was to case harden the prongs ith a few taps on concrete from my ball peen hammer. Then I put the wrench on the flare nut and bashed it counterclockwise with the heel of my fist. Most nuts gave way on the first punch. Sorry man. I've been there. : brake lines. Are there any other methods to loose the nut even if I have to do it by brute force. Sucks to have SS brake lines in three corners and one old oem lines.
