There is no comparison. It depends on the driver. I don't know how much it helps in the 1/4 though - I would think a good driver could do close to the same thing. What it is fun for is flooring it getting on to a street. With a modded TT you really have to be careful with full throttle at lower speeds on turns. The TC makes it a no brainer. I want to get somewhere fast I just press the gas all the way down. I shut it off once in a while but then I am constantly kicking out the rear end on low speed turns. This is in dry conditions on Michelin Pilots - 245/40/17s. I do slip a little in wet conditions (even with switch in wet mode). This is probably a calibration issue but I haven't gotten around to fixing it.
