OK, so we have the O'Reilly drag races here at HPT this weekend and folks from all over the place come over here to watch these beasts run. I was out driving last night after the roads dried out looking for a few kills...my buddy Jason (KC) is on his modded GSX Eclipse and I am on the Z....we ran across a group of 3 corvettes (black Z06, red C5 and yellow C5...how cute...lol)...and we stopped to say hi...really cool guys by the way. Turns out that last year he had come down on his older C4 and I had stumped on him pretty good (don't remember but I will take the kill nevertheless...he said he remembered it clearly...) The black one was a Z06 and the other two were C5's...the yellow was an absolute beauty with the 3 piece HR? wheels....*drool* (all w/Nebraska tags). Anyway, Jason (thanks asshole Jason considering my clutch is hanging on by a string and the fuel pump is probably only good to pump air into a fish tank) asked if they would like to run them and asked them which one was the slowest one of the bunch...the guy w/the Z06 said he was and they ran....er.....Jason got absolutely w/o a doubt....bitch-smacked like a $1 ho...(mind you I usually beat Jason's car by about 3-4 cars.....uh oh ) So I run the Z06 (he would not say what he had done)....ok, I got smacked around pretty good by a good 2 cars...tried it again w/same results....One of the C5 owners wanted to give it a shot, he said he was lying about the Z06 being the slowest and would not say what his car or the Z06 had done. We raced twice and he beat me the first time by about one car (all out of hole)...I took him on the second one by about 1/2 a car....got a much better launch that time. The third guy (the one that used to have a C4) wanted some action now. He says he was going to warm up his juice (err..ok?). We ran on the "Dover bridge"...let's just say it was not even close.........he said he had a bunch of things done to the engine, the thing sound awesome...but there was a LOT of smoke coming out of his exhaust which tells you where I was standing through first and second...after that, I could barely read his Nebraska tag.... By the way, YES my clutch is on order and I would not even dare using that as an excuse as for giggles I raced Jason (hehehe, read on punk) and smacked him around like a naughty stepchild (good 4-5 cars, or was it 5-6 cars Jason?..lol).... Damn corvettes.....can I change my name now adm.?
