I went to a auto shop where they had 2 zs. Both of them has blown up engines. One of them is definately for sale. The owner of the z for sale was going down the interstate and the water pump went out. So, he kept driving until the car quit. He had it towed to this auto shop where he found out that it has to have a new engine. The car looks like crap on the inside torn leather and cuts and stuff all over the interior. The exterior looks good, but is missing a fog light, a muffler(rt side) and the wheel finish is coming off. It has 203k miles. The facia is also cracked a little. My question is, would it be worth $300 for this car? What could I use out of a car that has had no maint. and has 203k miles? It is a white on tan interior, a very dirty engine bay, and does not run. Its a 2+2 5spd and it was made in 6/90. Think its worth $300? The original owner gave it to the owner of the shop and he just wants to get rid of it. I will prolly offer him like 200-250 because he got it for free and it is just taking up space. thanks
