sure, nobody gives a damn about how many dB's you can hit with your monstrous subs, but sound quality is an entire different story. in all seriousness, imaging is THE most important part of a clean sounding installation. you give me shitty speakers, and proper imaging, it will sound great. 1000 dollar speakers, and shitty imaging, itll sound like it ass. try this. you have a decent stereo in your house?? put the speakers facing each other on the ground. no less than 5 feet apart, i usually go for like 10 feet apart. lay down on your back, with your head directly in the center of the speakers.. let the jam session begin. itll sound so good, itll blow your socks off. the speakers i have in my room are setup like that permanantly. sounds like ass anywhere else in the room, but if youre in the right spot, youll have goosebumps for an hour.
