integrity of frame and engine parts when driven beyond the daily commuter standards is something the car lacks very much.. you take a car that was not built to be a sports car and make it try to be one.. bad things happen.. then the tranny will be a problem if putting power to it as it is a FWD tranny that is very compact.. the weight of such cars make them perform quite well in the 1/4.. but then again.. look at motorcycles.. they do good too.. and go-carts can tear shit up in the 1/8.. its just pointless as a sports car. there are a few people out there that can drift the hell out of FWD cars and do well on the road.. BUT as that lansar video going around will show you, its quite dangerous..
sorry for the off topic stuff but civics can be 'quick' as in run 1/4's quite nicely with a few mods (due to weight mostly).. but they are incapable of any excitement beyond this point.
