Neather of us have the time to do a web page, unless somebody wants to do one for us. I know I plan on take crap loads of pics. We'll be take a good share of video too, but the incar video camera that we're setting up in Glenn's car will be second to the in helmet radio communication that we have setup. Unfortunately, in the past, the in car camera doesn't work when we try to use the inhelmet radio communication. Testing in a garage ahead of time shows that everything works fine, but when we take it out to the track, the tape blanks out the first time somebody says something. Go figure. Carl's doing an article for Sport Z Magazine on the event, so your sure to see a bunch there. Plus, it's sponsored by Grass Roots Motorsports, and they're also going to have a bunch of pages dedicated to it. They also say there might be a little blurb in Maxum, and ESPN Magazine too, along with some Corvette magazine and a BMW magazine. All these editor folks will be along for the ride, along with some video guy who works for some TV station out of Tahoe and will be making a tape of the event to sell. Word also has it that parts of the event will also be on TV in the LA area, Tahoe area, SF, Sacramento, and Vegas. By the way, Glenn's been filling me in on all the experimentation that you guys have been doing. I've been studing doing water injection for a few years now, but never came up with the funds to pull it off in my Z. I was hoping to pull it off before Kojima (SCC), but am glad I didn't try first now. Regarding One Lap, I have been following their forum for a quite some time. A number of people weren't happy at first that a dirt oval was a part of the race this year. I personally think it was a great idea, and was very curious who would take their car out on it. I'd love to do it myself personally. Ya, I like the One Lap too, because it used to be the Cannonball Run, but unfortunately, if I were to choose between more time on the track, or more time on a highway, in the middle of nowhere, and sleep deprived, I'd choose more time at the track. I've already driven from Connecticut to California once before. I actually loved it, and would do it again, but like I said, if I were to choose between that and track time, I'd do that. It kinda sucks JUST HOW LITTLE track time the One Lappers actually get, for all the driving they do. It's basically an autox, on a race track, with a different autox at a different part of the country, each day, for 7 days.
