They are twice as stiff as the stock ones, but don't transmit as much vibrations/noise as the delrin ones. I just finished the delrin ones this weekend and boy... I never thought I'd ever hear anything over my B&B exhaust... but, I hear every single thing going on with my tranny/drivetrain. When I let off the gas, I can hear the gears in the tranny winding down... when I engage the clutch, I feel a thunk throughout my entire car... it's mostly just drivetrain noise though... I don't hear any additional road noise. : I plan to change out the rear subframe bushings in my 90ZTT when I have my shocks and springs replaced with an Eibach Pro Kit and stock cockpit-adjustable shocks. My priorities (in order of most important to less) are: : 1. to prevent increase in cabin noise : 2. to maintain ride quality (compliance) as much as possible : 3. to stiffen the chassis : 3. to reduce wheel hop : So I suppose derlin or aluminum subfame bushings would be out of question because they would transmit too much road noise and too much vibration to the cabin. And somebody warned me that the Energy Suspension urethane ones might squeek. So what about the Nismo rubber bushings? Are the significantly harder than stock and is ride quality and interior noise going to suffer with the Nismos? : I'm leaning right now towards just getting new stock bushings. : Also, are there ny other bushings that need to be replaced? (I've done the front tension rods already). : Thanks for any input. : Dan
