Message : On my way to work, early by an hour I might add, I was driving the TT down my normal route to work on the empty 9am Chicago Streets. Doing my usual crusing speed I opened her up a little bit and took a pretty weak curve at about 70mph.

: Here is where I learned first hand about how STUPID it is to be driving like your Michael Schumacher when in fact your really a regular Joe. Needless to say, My Z started to lose it coming out of the turn, so I corrected and swung the end back around, but the momentum was to great and the turn slid me out 180 degrees into the oncoming lane. Sliding into the sidewalk I was hoping to stop the car somehow but it was to late. Mr Light-post had decided that I was due for a meeting with him and ate my car passenger side first.

: Considering the velocity of the impact I am lucky to walk away with 3 scratches and some whiplashed muscles. I can't stress enough how important a seatbelt is and how well built our cars are. The T-Bar saved my life since it absorbed so much of the impact and didn't buckle under pressure. If there was a passenger I would have been in jail right now...anyways enough preaching, on to the pics.
