It's sad to see that one ask or gives one's opinion or freedom of speech on what he or she has to say and gets shot down like a passing bird that just flew back north form a long winters vacation ,,, lol. I for one did not see this post ( was busy;)), but easily gathered from this post and the one earlier by Greg on the sub frame bushing poll. I for one will not take one MAN's words as GOD. I will get 2 and 3 opinions on everything. I think what Greg, SGP, DSP, Primspeed and PSR ( cant say I ever heard of them,,lol ) are doing is a benefit to us all. We cant sit around waiting on HKS, Greddy, Apexi etc,etc to look at us anymore. We are a dying breed to them and not so marketable anymore. I would have rather had the part made and fail then to never try at all. Going first hand with the RPS problem and yet sticking it out all the way threw the end and still being backed by RPS is what it's all about. If something works, I'll say it, if something doesn't, guess what?, I'm sure as hell going to say it, with tact and respect of course. If someone say's that wont work, I say prove it. If you or I don't agree with what others are saying, shit tuff, it's there right as well. But separate fact from fiction and have proof on your claims. Greg said that 3" exhaust hurts are cars. Do I agree, nope, didn't hurt mine at all. Does that mean I suck?,,, lol. Nope, because I have these simple Dyno sheets with six pulls three times each, two different days showing me different. We all need to be able to express our opinions to learn. FACT: I posted about that Carbon flywheel the other day. I called the shop yesterday to order it. This is the word I got from the owner. I say owner because I like to deal with the highest person I can in that company, for you get better results in most cases, plus I'm the Operation Supervisor for my company and I guess I'm just use'd to it. But and this is not a bash, nor will I come on here and make such a post, because I'm sticking with RPS and there awesome support. But, owner said that even if I get there carbon flywheel, it will not last long using an RPS 6 puck due to the fact that they use same compounds on both sides of there disc. They should use a dual fiction disc with say Carbon one side and Kevlar on the other. Give the flywheel side a softer engaging material and pressure plate a much stronger one. There's all kinds of materials to use, Carotic, Feramic, Ceramic and ones already mentioned. But getting off the real subject here,,,lol. Never stop asking questions, giving advice or saying what's on your mind. For we will all become tunnel rats and follow the same path as the one trying to find the answers themselves too. I don't think we need an East side West side thing going on, even thought I've seen someone on the East side make a comment about the fastest Z, as long as it stays on the East side they don't care. If it helps promote Z's being faster then by all means lets do it. But can we at least stay on the same side and not against? It's easy to see that posting opinions and asking about products gets more attention then most other post and the full on band Wagner's come out in full force, yet when they have problems or questions, where do they go? What do they do? For myself, I try and know all the products out there, so I kinda can fit into any conversion that comes up, weather here or a Z meet or with another Z club. I can say that I've asked certain questions to those that know a far greater deal then me on these cars and horse power in general, and they didn't have all the answers that I knew, so that's my point. There is no one man in this game with are all playing. If you don't agree, shit make an educated theory on your opinion and your factual findings and move on. Don't try and change the minds of others, let them live and learn as well. I'm going to go work out now,,,,,,lol. I feel some tension in the air,,,lol ;) peace. BTW, the flywheel are $100 bucks for then Carbon/Steel inserts. Which word I got is 10 bucks cheaper than replacing same old plan steel one onces it's warped. So go figure,,lol.
