This sentence really bugs me: "But corporate teleworkers for smaller companies, who regularly upload and download large graphics files, for instance, stand a greater risk of being affected than those who use their cable connection mostly for e-mail." Isn't that the whole idea behind getting a cable modem? Cable companies advertized their service by saying how fast you can download multimedia content. Now they're saying if you just check your email using your cable modem you're ok, but people that upload and download large multimedia files stand a greater chance of being charged extra... in other words everyone who got a cable modem to use it as it was advertized will be charged extra, while people who use it like a 14.4 modem to check text email messages will be safe.
