Message	for this very reason you state. I'll probably drop by there tomorrow afternoon and politely put him in his place without him knowing it. I'll apologize to him about the noise from my car as well as other 'kids' with loud stereos that come through all the time and quickly follow with a brief explanation about the cool-down period. Tossing in the fact that 'kids with loud stereos' come bumping through all the time may point out that the noise my car makes is far less irritating than what else is commonly heard. He'll think I'm kissing his ass for all the apologies, but to me, I'm gracefully putting the fucker in his place and I have the upper hand because I have explained myself with a justified reason for what's happening and hopefully directed his attention to the 'kids with loud stereos'. HE will probably double fume over hearing them after I'm done puree'ing his brains. : And the power that he has is that he knows where you park your car. Surely, if anything happened to your car, you'd have a good hunch it was him. But the thing is, you never want to get to that point...as it's painfully hard to prove and things get ugly. If you printed out a very simple thing about why engines with turbos need to cool down, walked over and nicely handed it over to him...it might help.
