there is an actual function that they perform...does this matter to you? Just for arguments sake, lets say that this function they perform would make the car behave in a way that you wouldn't like. Would you know this before you bought them? Nope. But hey, at least they sound cool, right? If you DO know what they do, great. Not trying to flame you to hard here. If you want them for their performance enhancement and THEN buy based on sound then cool. Just don't buy them because they "sound cool."
