Message	The engine may consistenly be able to put to put out only 450 lbs of torque, but if you are using slicks and launch from a high RPM, the instantaneous torque load will be a hell of a lot higher than 800 ft/lbs. That's what snaps things. Just like I only weigh 200 lbs, but if I jump up and down, the peak load on the floor could be many times that weight.
