Last month, I watched a lady in an Expedition make a lane change from the left lane to the middle lane on the Tollway during morning rush hour. Apparently, she didn't check her blindspots because there was a C4 in the middle lane. He wasn't there intentionally as the lady in the Expedition actually accelerated next to his postion. Anyway, the C4 swerved hard to the right, counter-steered to the left, and went into a spin. He nailed the right-lane overpass guardrail and continued to spin into the left lane -- my lane. I BARELY was able to stop and avoid collision w/ him in my Sentra. Just think, if I was driving a semi (or even the Z), this guy would be DEAD because I wouldn't be able to stop in time. The lady in the Expedition just kept on driving while this guy's C4 was totalled. And this is the same lady that cut me off onto the entrance ramp to the Tollway just a few minutes earlier. I know that if she keeps driving like that, then she will get what she deserves one day. I just hope that no innocent bystanders will be involved. Personally, what Gold Z did was right, however, if I was in the guy's shoes, I don't know what I would have done (probably nothing because I believe in karma). There is a fine line between child displining and child abuse. Likewise, there is a fine line between road rage (uncontrollable emotion and violence) and making people realize what they just did. And, quite frankly, cursing off the top of your lungs and/or flipping the middle finger just seems to make people even more ignorant. Michael.
