I'm pretty sure I can do it for less though. I'm not in to expensive mufflers for one. In back-pressure tests, the butt-cheap glass pack or coated steel fiber filled straight through mufflers flowed as well or better than the expensive mufflers. When you add a resonator to those, they aren't any louder than the more expensive ones. Additionally, I'm probably going to stick with stock precat pipes. I gutted mine and I know the pipes are rough, but fabricating those would be a PITA. I would also use 2 1/2 inch tubing which is a little cheaper than 3". As for the flanges, I found that [ www.roadraceengineering.com ] has one for pretty much everything. I know it's a DSM site, but they've got a lot of stuff. I would need dual tips too ... a necessity on a Z. Anyway, let me know how it turns out.
