Message	torque due to deletion of variable valve timing and addition of OBD II diagnostics. To make up for the deficiency, a more aggresive cam profile was fitted, something I always wonder would benefit the earlier models? Easy upgrade? The autos of every year were the only ones Nissan made claims to have only 280hp. Nissan will not admit that 96's have 280hp, therefore they are not that low (in 5spd form).
