Carlsbad. Quick recap of results:1.Mike Homer in his new, cherry 1966 Datsun 1600 convertable roadster, ET:18sec at around 80mph. 2.Zo was thrown off the track and the brain damaged track personnel wouldn't give him his time slip. They said he was "way under the 12.00" limit. They gave him a hand written time slip (the time slip printer broke half way through the day and we had to go up to the tower to get our results...a hand written slip with 1/4 mile ET and MPH. It looked like it was an 11.42 that they had scrawled over. I hate to sound so cynical but some of these guys mothers and fathers are also brother and sister. 3.Greg D. Had one easy run at 15psi and a gentle launch and ran 11.4 @ 123...then his trans gave up the ghost at higher boost, he had already glazed some of the friction material during the sorting out process of the trans. He's confident that the next rebuild will do the trick. 4.Mark L. (me) 11.95 @121 because I drive like old people F%&k. We had a great time except for Zo's run in with the cast from Deliverance and will be back in a few weeks. Again, congrats to Mike for some impressive performance and driving. Mark
