Nixit... 1) If what you're saying is true about drifting being frowned upon, how come I've never been kicked off the track? EVER? As you noticed, if I've already screwed up a fast lap, I will take a few corners sideways to practice car control and have fun. You have a problem with that? And if it's so slow when I'm drifting in front of you (after passing you, I might add), then how come I didn't notice you catching up to me during the slides? 2) It's not considered SAFE or good driving? That's just plain dumb, as a race car often WILL get sideways whether you want it to or not, and practicing your car control is the ONLY way to get good at it. Your car control doesn't just magically improve by driving like a pussy on the track and then getting on the internet and whining about those of us that push our cars to (and past) the limit and take advantage of our track time. 3) You don't like my driving at MSR? I'm slow and unsafe eh? Try 1:26's on street tires and pump gas... I bet you're not even below 1:30's. 'Nuff said.
