think of it like a 10 spd bike, if you look at the rear cog, when the chain is on the largest cog it is the easiest to pedal, when it is on the smallest it is harder to pedal. This is just like our cars, na rears have the big gear, tt's have the small gear. when you add the big rear gear to a tt, acceleration skyrockets, however your top speed drops to about ~165 (depending) You also lose the hicas so you drop a bunch of weight, probably around 45lbs (dont know for sure) i dont know what else to say about it. oh, some claims say that by switching to the na rear you can gain .7-.9 off your 1/4 times.
