I just read a thread a little ways down on SUV's and people were defending them. It just reminded me of this: As some of you may recall last may 12 on my birthday my girlfriend was on her way home when a lady in her SUV (explorer) on her phone ran a blinking red light and smashed into her car. It pushed her into median strip - then up flipping a few times in air.. After hour and a half of cutting at the car while I watched they finally got her out. She broke her femur, foot, had a concussion, had to have a steel rod put in her leg. Recent update: She is still in physical therapy, and still limps real bad. She has constant back neck and arm pains and headaches. Her doctors now think her number 5 and 6 vertabre had hairline fractures which have gotten worse over time. They took some x-rays and if they arent fractured she gets regular pain shots amdministered through back of head, If they are fractured she gets to have more surgery, but on her back and neck and she will have to where a halo. (where they drill holes in you to fix your head in place) Here are the pics again.
 And people wonder why some of us don't like SUV's.
