Message	255-265/35/18 will fit on 18x9.5 with correct offset and not rub. Also you want to use the largest recommended wheel for a certain tire, it will perform best this way. According to Sumitomo, I could put my fron 255/40/17 on a 17x10 wheel, and it will fit on the from, I tried. Also my 275/40/17 will fit on a 11" wheel. But yes 275 width is hard to fit.
