Message and it doesn't matter what anyone tells you, there is no sex in the champagne room.

Rule #1: modified cars lose value because the vehicle falls into the buyers market. Modified cars can only be appreciated with value to individuals who know the value of the mods, but it still doesnt mean you are going to get back what you put into it. In fact, you will rarely see a case where it does by any significant margin.

Also keep in mind, a car with lots of high HP mods has been run hard and probably put away hot many times. If it has an UD pulley, consider it time for a new engine. LOL

It really depends on how much money you have. Buy stock version, pay $$$$ in mods YOU want and start with a reliable vehicle. On the other hand, spend less for a car WITH someone else's mods that has been run hard and you may end up dropping an unexpected $4K+ for a new engine soon.

: There is a silver 90 TT, 5spd, 87,000miles, 450hp, full stainless steel exhaust, pro lowered, fitipaldi wheels, $10K in upgrades/mods, but its only 11K. what would be the reason for this? Usually the modified Z's i see are upwards of $15-20k! Do you think this particular car has some serious problems and theyre trying to get rid of it or what? The owner is a pro race car driver and this car has been raced, and won.

: Then on the other side of the coin, there is a 93 TT, with only 30,000miles, but it is COMPLETELY stock. as if u just got it from the showroom. yet this car is selling for $17-18K! It is because of the low milage that this one is so much more expensive than the 90?

: I dont know how to approach the purchase of a Z. I don't want to try to find something good for cheap, because i dont want to end up with a bunch of problems, but i dont wanna dump a lot of money for nothing. I'm so confused!! And now i just found another 90TT black, for only $7,500!! I dont know which one to go after!!!!
