Message Yes, having the same size tires front & rear can help give some more oversteer, but so can tweaking shocks, sway bars, tire pressures, alignment settings, etc...there are a zillion things that can make the car spin like that.

I'm running 275/40-17 tires on all 4 corners, but that's not why it spun. My car just got a new set of GC Coil Overs on it, and the alignment is a bit pooched, so she was very very tail-happy yesterday. If you notice in the video my co-driver clips the apex berm with the left rear tire doing around 100MPH, and with my sky-high spring rates it punted the tire up in the air and then it was game over very fast. If the car was more neutrally set up like in the past it probably wouldn't have started to spin, and if it did it would have been much more catchable.
