Message but I will reply to a few of your questions as long as everyone here just takes it as a grain of salt.

stay away from cheap rx-7s. I can guarantee you that you will dump even more money into it fixing stuff trying to get it back to 100%. It's much better to pay a little more and buy one that has been well maintained by a smart owner. thats a general rule of thumb when buying any used car, but it is the most important rule when looking at an RX-7.

anyway heres a QUICK run down of my humble OPINIONS. and thats all it is.

handling (im gonna assume you mean in stock trim)
1. rx-7
2. z and supra both handle in a very similar manner.
the rx-7s lightweight, stiff suspension, and 50/50 weight ratio make it handle like a dream.

power potential
1. (how much money you got?)
all these cars have huge power potential and I will leave it at that. The RX-7 has an advantage because it can go super fast due to its lightweight. 2800 lbs. 500RWHP on a 2800 lb car is like 640 RWHP on a car weighing 3600 lbs like the z or supra. the supra also has an advantage in stock trim because it comes with bigger turbos, injectors, brakes, and a strong 6 speed tranny from the factory but keep in mind that the supra does cost A LOT more in the used market.

reliability
1. supra
2. z
3. rx-7
the z is not far behind the supra in reliability. I hang out on both forums a lot and you just dont see as many "somethings wrong" posts when it comes to supras. I suggest you stay away from the rx7forum if you have a weak stomach. ;)
