Message : Well Im rollin down the interstate at 55-60 and I see me a C5 (yummy) and I roll up on him, and holy shit, 1st I see his 20" (ya thats rigth 20s on a vette) Lohart wheels, and if you know anything about Lohart wheels they are unmistakeable, even on the road I could make out that emblem in the middle because its was moving slow (you know how wheels look in motion they kinda pause at a sertain speed) And then I noticed the holy mother of all exhaust comeing out the back, huge tips on them and sounding mean as hell, Then on top of that I see all the guages in his ride. NICE looking vette no dought, had to be a 00 or 01. So Im thinking if he has the mega $$$ to drop in those wheels, what the hell does he have on that motor, Im thinging TTC5, in that case I will basicly see him hand me my ass. So after pasein him he down shifts and jumps the car, So im like alright hear we go, so down in 3rd I go, then he guns it. he got about 1/4 a car length and then my turbos spooled (awww yes now were racing) and I pull right back up next to him and we stayed dead even all the way threw 3rd and hit 4th same thing damn lag, then i got right back up next to him, now we are coming up to 125mph really fast, we both stop, with a clear view we were a even match. so we settle back down to 60. and come across another huge opening in traffic, we passed a Z31 in the traffic and he know what was about to go down. so he followed us threw the traffic as we worked our way to the front, then the open road and we hit it again. from 55 all the way to 120 again dead even, poor little Z31(stock by the way) tried in the begining, but basicly just watched us go at it. It has been by far the closes race I have ever been in. only time he pulled ever so slightly was when I had lag between shifts but the boost hits and I jump right back up dead even again. I was very impressed with my Z he had to of dumped some major $$$ to get it lookin as good as it did. and me in my 7 year old V6 with basic bolt ons just stayied right next to him, felt pretty good. Normaly I can leave C5's at my will, but man this was a great race, and no doubt we tied both times. I wanted some more, but was worried about heat soaked ICs but he got off his exit, so no worries.

: Just thought I would share, probley the last race I will ever have in this Z. New owner is comeing in on Monday to get her. :(

: And yes I know my grammer and spelling suxs.

I guess I should invest in new intercoolers soon then, eh Jason? Or maybe a mist system. Glad to hear you got a chance to drive her like she was designed before I take her off your hands.
