		| Message | I've never been too interested in mods, so that wasn't a big issue to me. What was an issue was the Supra leather which started cracking within 6 months of my buying it new! No amount of Lexol could stop the deterioration, and Car and Driver reported the same thing in their long-term test. The bumper paint faded faster than the rest of the car. And the clutch was supremely noisy and cheap-sounding. The local dealership blamed the tranny, which they replaced under warranty. But it made a grinding/howling noise in first gear (yeah, they're mechanically superior my ass). Toyota fought me and said it was NORMAL! I won arbitration, but they still refused to honor the decision. I had traded a 92 TT Z for the POS chasing after "higher" performance. Unfortunately, I forgot that a sports car is also about class. The Supra didn't have it, and Toyota wouldn't even stand up for its reliability. Finally, I dumped it for my 96 Z, and thank God every day for the luck. I have NEVER had a problem with any of my 6 Zs. Some poor ass-wipe is stuck with a crappy tranny in a 94 Supra, but I did it with a clear conscience because Toyota said the grinding gear was "normal."
