Message	rps has 6 springs. act has a solid plate. the pressure plate on the rps is much harder. they provide almost the same clamping force. i wouldnt say one is better than the other one. you will notice a difference with the springs and the no springs. some question the rps design (maybe not the most recent design because its said they have be redesigned) ...but i dont think the design is flawed. its really your choice
