I was showing it off to a good friend the second day I had her when just cruising along goin maybe 40 in a 35, this boner in a mid eightees cougar flies by me his poor poor engine musta been hitting 8000rpms! I catch up but dont bother passing this stupid mofo. We approach the next light wich is about 50 meters ahead, (two lane road in each direction, I was just at his rear bumper) When outta nowhere he swerves indy style up over the curb half on the sidewalk at 45mph! My buddy and I are laughing our asses off thinkin WTF is this dude doin, but when we start to pass we see him struggling with the wheel to get it off the sidewalk, (thank god no pedestrians) and back onto the road. You wouldn't believe the sound this thing was making. Finally he settles it back off the curb. At the light I was going straight, waiting for the red light and still couldnt figure out what this guy did. But when he went to go right at the light he started to turn but couldnt and almost went straight into the cars waiting to turn left from the cross street. Now he was far enough ahead I could see under his car and couldn't beleive my eyes. I've heard of this but always thought it was BS. His entire engine appeared to be dragging? His transmission and drive shafts were at a completely funky angle and made it immpossible to turn. He backed up the cross street because he couldnt make the right, and when I drove by two hours later there was his car sitting in the grass on the corner of the intersection. This was by far the most amazing/f*cked up thing I have ever seen driving (not anymore though). The POS ended up sitting there for the next two days, surprised they didn't tow his busted ass. Although I feel kinda bad, the guy looked like his Cougar was the most expensive thing hes ever owned or Stolen?
