In Reply To What are the chances of JB WELD working on cracked plenum? posted by CaptanZap(OK 2 B NA) on February 19, 2002 at 03:29 PM

Message I've never used JB Weld on aluminum, but from what I've seen on other metals, it should be a decent fix. Just keep an eye on it to check for any leakage. If JB Weld doesnt work, I'm sure there are other commercially available metal epoxies that might stand up to higher temps/pressures. Better to try a fix than replace plenum, IMO.

: cracked the area by the PCV's, replacing my PCV..the passenger side, put JB WELD on it...whats the chance of it working?
