for those that were watching my troubles at the track over the last 6 months...they continued (so i found out AFTER running all day) but im very very pleased considering. The day starts off with TONSSSSSS of traffic...got to the track and hour late but still managed not to miss a run. First pass...car felt eeehhhhh...i was really stupid...i had 100 octain in the tank on the way down but couldn't test boost due to the traffic. I had no idea what was going on boost wise...and had adjusted my timing which is around the NOT jets in the pipes. Ran 12.7@118.35 NO NOS with a 2.3 60 ft time YUUUUCK! I also had the race logic on BUT needed to adjust it some obviously! My peak boost was only 1.66 and i looked over in 4rth and saw 1.52 - wich is around 21 PSI. I start to think OK my boost controller is not set-up....no biggy. I decided to go with NOS on the next run so who cares anyway. All I know is....it took 25 PSI to run 119 last time so i know my power is back! Second run...decided to ditch the TC and go for the NOS. I had a setting dialed in at 20 PSI (you have to set it 2-3 psi lower becuase the NOS makes more boost and i couldn;t test that)....man what a run....i new it was my fastest Hit my first 11----11.988 @123.65. Again i look over in 4rth and I see a peak of 1.36 and it was at 1.19 at the time. I can run 1.5 + NOS so not a top all out run. So I was VERY VERY pleased obviously. 3rd and last run....i dial in more boost up high...car felt like it fell on its face a bit...maybe the AVC-R was trying to learn so I turn off the gear learning Run a better 11.950@123.43...again my peak was even lower at 1.26 KG...but i didn't look over to see the boost during the run. That was a run in which you will see video of...im sure. Now heres the AWESOME encouraging part. SPOTZ and I decide to play on the frwy....I still have a nice mix of 118 octane and 91 so i leave my 1.30 setting...i nail it...it hits 1.30 and dives to 1.14 then up and then down to 1.05 or so...EVERY TIME and i made 4 or 5 runs. I have a boost leak LOL! And still ran 123+ with the NOS and only holding like 16 PSI LOL! Im pretty confident a 127+ MPH pass will be made once I get the gremlins out of her. But it was fouled plugs last time that robbed me of alot of power. My trap speed is now equalling my power and boost so i think im OK. I was getting worried the Steamer was getting tired. Boy does it feel good to get ovfer the 11 hump! I feel like im finally figuring it out. I think it will all come together soon for me. Cant wait to see vids.
