Message The 2835 is not the hail mary of all turbos. I considered going with the 3037's, but that would REQUIRE 272 cams and I am just not willing to drop more money in cams. Plus, I don't want to spin the car to 8,300 rpm.

Those turbos on a properly built 300 (with proper tuning and 264 cams) should put down somewhere in the vicinity of 625 rwhp (1.4 bar) on pump gas and 725-750 with the boost turned up.

Lag will be there. If you have ever driven in a Supra with these turbos you know what I am talking about. With that said, let me add that I think lag is WAY overrated. I have raced a Supra with the 2835's & 272 cams on the highway (40 punch) when I had the T25/T28 turbos (read: zero lag) and the guy just immediately walked on me. Granted, he did power brake the car a bit but he was out of there like a rocket. In a nut shell, you just learn to drive around it.

Another way to look at it from the point of a daily driver is this: If you are putting 600 rwhp down on pump gas, how much lag do you really think you are gonna feel as the car is making power. It's kind of like the story that the HKS 2530's are WAY less laggy than the Greddy TD 05's. When you overlap the dyno graphs, the TD 05's catch 2530's below 5,000 rpm.

To each there own, but I will take the lag to have the power. Give me lag!

Bryan
