Message : I won't deny an M3 is a competent car, but I don't believe any true sports car has more than 2 seats. What exactly is a sports sedan? Considering a new M3 is about three times as much money as a good used 300ZXtt, you're not getting bang for the buck either IMO. In addition, I think the M3 is a dumb product, given the fact for the money, you could step into a better platform in the 5 series. You know what I think BMW makes well? They make nice wheels. Whoopee F*cking Doo.

The Z isn't necessarily a sports car either then.. it's a GT car... or GS.. depends on what you want to say. It has much more than is necessary... anything extra like plush seats, a/c, t-tops, nice interior, stereo. You aren't comparing apples and oranges. In fact, both cars are more GT than anything else, so that would put them in the same class. One just has a couple extra seats in it. One is N/A the other has forced induction. One is new, the others been gone for a few years. I think that comparing new cars to used cars is dumb, b/c as time passes things evolve in the way of sports cars.. notice that they get faster. Now if you were to compare a new Z to a new M3 that's different, and they are around the same price. The M3 has a great platform, 50/50 weight distro, nice engine, high-tech. Compare the '96 to the '96. =)
