There is a car lift safety group that has stats on all the different brands, I can't recall the URL right off the top of my head though. You should be able to find a link on some of the manufacturers sites. If not, e-mail me and I'll try to find it for you. My view is, don't go too cheap on a lift purchase because your life could depend on it.
